Step 1: sam.gov registration
Create a SAM.gov Account (if not already created)
- Sign Up for a SAM.gov Account:
- Provide your email and create a password.
- Confirm your email address through a verification process.
- Log into your SAM.gov Account using the credentials created.

Step 2: UEI Registration
Step 2a: Prepare Required Information and Documents
- Legal Business Name: Ensure it matches exactly as it appears on legal documents.
- Physical Address: Must be a physical location (no P.O. Boxes), matching legal documents.
- Mailing Address (if different): If your mailing address is different from your physical address, have this information ready.
- Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)/Employer Identification Number (EIN): Ensure this number is accurate and current.
- DUNS Number (if applicable): Previously required, ensure to have it if your business already has one.
- Legal Structure of the Entity: Corporation, LLC, Partnership, etc.
- Start Date of the Organization: As recorded in legal documentation.
- Primary Contact Information: Including the name, email, and phone number of the primary person responsible for the registration.
- Banking Information: Necessary if registering in SAM.gov, which is often linked to UEI registration.

- Bank Account Number
- Bank Routing Number
